This book focuses on the histories of more than sixty churches, with additional depth for larger churches. Smaller or short-term churches are also included, compiled from church histories, city directories, news articles, and records of the Fenton History Center. Present churches were asked for current information, which is included, where provided. The many historic photographs are complemented by colorful new photographs of most of Jamestown's churches, by photographer Chad Ecklof. Presented in soft cover, 8-1/2 by 5-1/2, with 218 pages, including 60 pages in color. All known churches, past and present, are listed by name and address. Since many different congregations shared some street addresses, a listing of addresses and churches is also included. This book is a must-have for the local history buff!
